University Wyoming Ellbogen $50K Entrepreneurship Competition

The University of Wyoming is celebrating an important anniversary this year!

Twenty years ago the University of Wyoming hosted the first entrepreneurship competition as a $10K competition. Through generous donors, including First Interstate Bank Foundation, entrepreneurship activities on campus have grown, as has the competition. With much gratitude for the incredible vision and support of the John P. Ellbogen Foundation, this competition now awards $50K in total prize money to teams during the final competition.

This year's event will be held via Zoom on Friday and Saturday, May 8 and 9.

Throughout the competition, UW will be celebrating its history by highlighting and interviewing several of the teams which have participated in the past and dive into the history of some of the best successes of the competition.

Watch history in the making as seven student teams compete for $50K in seed funding!
