Wyoming Business Council Hosts Series of Board Meetings in Cheyenne Feb. 24-26

The WBC Board of Directors and the Wyoming Main Street Advisory Board will meet to consider local investments, broadband awards, and strategic priorities for 2026.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) will host a series of public meetings and work sessions in Cheyenne next week, focusing on local infrastructure, business expansion, and downtown revitalization.

WBC Board of Directors: Feb. 24-25 

The WBC Board of Directors will begin with a public work session on Tuesday, Feb. 24, at 1 p.m., focused on Cheyenne and Laramie County’s economic development initiatives. This interactive session and on-site tour will provide a candid look at past projects and help shape future catalyst projects for the community.

The regular quarterly board meeting will convene on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 8 a.m. The Board will consider a Business Ready Community (BRC) grant request for the Cheyenne First & Union Land Acquisition Project and a revenue recapture revision for a project in Rock Springs. Additionally, the Board will consider 50/50 and Brownfields loan requests, the 2026 Broadband and BEAD program awards, review Assessment to Action (A2A) and Wyoming Main Street success stories, and conduct its annual officer elections.

Wyoming Main Street Advisory Board: Feb. 26 

Following the WBC Board meetings, the Wyoming Main Street Advisory Board will meet in person at the WBC office (214 W. 15th St., Cheyenne) and via Zoom on Thursday, Feb. 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The agenda includes an election of board officers, details on the 2026 Best Practices workshop, and a planning session for the program’s 2026-2027 priorities. Main Street is a key component of the WBC’s mission to foster vibrant, resilient communities across the state.
