Wyoming Business Council Board to Hold Special Virtual Meeting Jan. 15

Board will consider loan participation requests to support business succession and expansion in Cheyenne and Sheridan.

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) Board of Directors will convene a special virtual meeting on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026, beginning at 9 a.m.

The Board will consider two specific investment opportunities designed to remove financial barriers for Wyoming businesses and keep local companies thriving. The agenda includes:

  • Succession Loan: A request for $500,000 in loan participation for Cowboy Drifters in Cheyenne, in partnership with Jonah Bank of Wyoming.
  • 50/50 Loan: A request for $343,000 in loan participation for Wendtland Machine Works (Double U Designs, LLC) in Sheridan, in partnership with First Federal Bank & Trust.

These investments reflect the WBC’s commitment to unlocking the positive potential of local entrepreneurs by providing the capital necessary to sustain and scale Wyoming-grown businesses.
