The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) will hold its quarterly Board of Directors meeting in Casper and virtually on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, beginning at 8 a.m. The WBC Board will also hold a public work session on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Both meetings will take place at the WYO Sports Ranch (1887 Champions Blvd, Casper).

The State Loan and Investment Board (SLIB) unanimously approved a Business Ready Community (BRC) grant and loan request from the City of Laramie at its meeting on April 3, 2025. The request, presented by the Wyoming Business Council (WBC), will support WyoTech’s expansion plans in Laramie.

The Wyoming Interagency Working Group on Childcare launched a grant program in January 2025 to expand childcare access across the state. Due to an overwhelming response—more than 45 applications in the first month alone—the program is adjusting its next application timeline.

Board recommends one BRC project from the City of Laramie following detailed discussions about the importance of community investment and partnerships.
