Wyoming Business Council and Wyoming Main Street Boards Meet in Gillette September 15–16

CHEYENNE, Wyo. The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) Board of Directors and the Wyoming Main Street (WMS) Advisory Board will hold meetings in Gillette next week. The WBC Board will meet Sept. 15 and 16, 2026, beginning with a work session on Tuesday followed by the board meeting on Wednesday. The Main Street Board will meet separately on Tuesday, Sept. 15. All meetings are open to the public.

On Tuesday, Sept. 15, the WBC board and staff will tour several Campbell County economic development initiatives in the morning, then reconvene for an afternoon work session to reflect on the past year’s work and explore priorities for Wyoming’s economic future. The work session is for discussion only; no public business will be transacted, and no public comment will be taken.

On Wednesday, Sept. 16, the board will hold its regular quarterly meeting beginning at 8 a.m., with welcome remarks from Gillette Mayor Shay Lundvall. The agenda includes updates from the various WBC teams and consideration of several funding actions, including a Barrier to Growth Loan request from the City of Casper and Challenge and 50/50 loan participations supporting Wyoming businesses.

The meeting is open to the public in person and online.

Wyoming Main Street Advisory Board

On Tuesday, Sept. 15, the Wyoming Main Street Advisory Board will meet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Gillette Main Street Office (314 S. Gillette Ave., Gillette) and via Zoom. The meeting will center on a board retreat and goal-setting session, followed by work to shape the board’s 2026–2027 work plan and priorities. WBC staff will also share updates connecting Main Street’s work to the themes heard through the Team Wyoming Huddle and related initiatives.
