Wyoming Business Council Opens Public Comment Period for Business Ready Community Grant and Loan Program
The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) Board of Directors held their regular quarterly meeting in Laramie, Wyoming, on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024. During the meeting, the board reviewed three Business Ready Community (BRC) grant and loan projects for funding and approved the WBC to enter into a contract with the City of Sundance for the rehabilitation of the Old Stoney project. The board also reviewed and approved several Challenge and Succession loans.
The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) Board of Directors and the Wyoming Main Street (WMS) Advisory Board will both hold quarterly meetings next week in person in Laramie, Wyoming, and concurrently via Zoom. The WBC also is hosting a dynamic public work session with University of Wyoming (UW) students and members of the public on Sept. 10 focused on “Shaping Wyoming’s Future”.
The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) Board of Directors will hold their quarterly meeting plus a public work session next week in person in Casper, Wyoming, and concurrently via Zoom.
The WBC Board will meet on Wednesday, May 8, at the Hilton Garden Inn (1150 N Poplar St, Casper WY,82601), beginning at 8 a.m. The Board also will convene a public work session the previous afternoon, May 7 beginning at 12 p.m. at the same location.

The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) Board of Directors will hold its next quarterly meeting via Zoom on Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2023, beginning at 9 a.m. The board also will convene a public work session on Tuesday, Dec. 12, from 1:30 to 4 p.m.
The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) presented one Business Ready Community (BRC) grant and loan request to the State Loan and Investment Board (SLIB) at their meeting on Thursday, Oct. 5. The SLIB approved the request from the City of Mills for Project Smile for a $15 million Business Committed grant and a $5 million Business Committed loan.
