Helping Wyoming Businesses Grow

The Wyoming Business Council offers programs and resources to help existing businesses of all sizes meet their goals as they mature and grow.

Approximately 80 percent of new jobs and capital investment come from companies that already exist in your community. One of our main goals is to help businesses with issues that could force a company to fail or close and to prevent companies from relocating to a new community.

We support our local partners as they work with local businesses on their expansion needs, providing links to programs and services throughout the state that can assist them, plus providing data and intelligence to strategically attract new companies to a community and foster the creation of new businesses.

WYO BIZLINK

Wyo BizLink is a free online platform designed to be the central hub for Wyoming’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. This collaborative effort, involving the WBC, Wyoming Innovation Partnership, Wyoming Library to Business, Laramie County Community College, the University of Wyoming, and the Economic Development Administration, directly addresses the challenge businesses face in finding the support they need at all stages.

Wyo BizLink provides an intuitive, searchable database that enables entrepreneurs to easily locate vetted support organizations, service providers, and government agencies. Users can filter resources by business stage, industry, location, and specific needs. Beyond the powerful resource navigator, the platform also features a statewide events calendar for workshops and training, along with success stories and educational content.
