CHEYENNE, WYO. – The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) is launching a new community conversation series, “Building Wyoming’s Future,” which kicks off this week with a focus on the economic opportunities presented by the state’s growing nuclear industry. The first webinar, titled “Building Wyoming’s Future: Understanding Growth in the Nuclear Industry,” will take place on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Noon (MST).
This engaging conversation will explore how major new developments — such as the proposed BWX Technologies (BWXT) advanced nuclear fuel facility in Gillette/Campbell County, Wyoming — can serve as powerful catalysts for statewide economic growth, job creation, and long-term opportunity across the Cowboy State.
“We are entering a transformative period for Wyoming’s economy, and it is vital that we engage every corner of our state in this conversation,” said Josh Dorrell, CEO of the Wyoming Business Council. “This series is about transparency and opportunity. We want to show how securing high-tech industries, like advanced nuclear fuel manufacturing, creates the high-paying career opportunities needed to keep our young people here and diversify our economy for the next 50 years.”
The conversation is essential for local leaders, business owners, students, and dedicated citizens — the entire Team of Thousands — who want to play a direct role in building a thriving, resilient future.
