Entrepreneurs looking to start their own business can learn about everything that is required during an upcoming Start Your Own Business Workshop in Lusk, WY. Presented by the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network and the University of Wyoming Extension, this no-cost training will provide a basic overview of starting a business in our state. The workshop will take place on Oct 25 from 5-8 pm at the Niobrara County Fairgrounds in Lusk, WY. Explore the pros and cons of owning a business and evaluate the skills and knowledge necessary for success. This workshop will cover numerous topics such as: testing the feasibility of your business idea identifying your target market financing options creating a business plan and more This is designed to be an interactive program, so bring your questions. The workshop will be presented by Wyoming SBDC Network Regional Director Justin Farley. Farley assists entrepreneurs in Niobrara, Natrona, Platte, and Converse counties. He has a background in finance and real estate. He has also owned, operated, and sold a Papa Murphy’s and Quiznos franchise. Justin’s business experience will lend important insight to potential small business owners on their road to entrepreneurship.
