The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) presented six Business Ready Community (BRC) grant and loan requests to the State Loan and Investment Board (SLIB) at their meeting on Feb. 2. The SLIB approved all of these projects as listed below, including a $20 million grant to the City of Laramie for Project Jupiter.

Today, the State of Wyoming made a historic decision to approve a $20 million grant to the City of Laramie to support the expansion of a locally-grown business, Plenty, and the creation of the world’s largest and most advanced vertical farming research facility in Laramie.

The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) will present six Business Ready Community (BRC) grant and loan requests to the State Loan and Investment Board (SLIB) at their next regular meeting on Thursday, Feb. 2, at 8 a.m.

The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) Board of Directors will hold a special meeting via Zoom on Friday, Jan. 20, 2023, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
