WBC Board of Directors Recommends Three BRC Grants and Loans at Sept. 11 Quarterly Meeting

The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) Board of Directors held their regular quarterly meeting in Laramie, Wyoming, on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024. During the meeting, the board reviewed three Business Ready Community (BRC) grant and loan projects for funding and approved the WBC to enter into a contract with the City of Sundance for the rehabilitation of the Old Stoney project. The board also reviewed and approved several Challenge and Succession loans.

Wyoming Business Council Board of Directors Holds Special Board Meeting July 31 via Zoom

The Wyoming Business Council (WBC) Board of Directors will hold a special meeting via Zoom on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

This Special Meeting is called for the consideration of time-sensitive broadband topics, a graphic design and content creation support contract, a contract amendment with an existing loan servicer, and a business 50/50 loan. No other business will be discussed at this meeting.

Wyoming’s Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment Plan, Vol. 2 Now Available for Public Comment

The Wyoming Broadband Office, part of the Wyoming Business Council (WBC), has been allocated $348 million in federal funding through the Broadband, Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) program. After releasing its Initial Proposal Volume I for public comment in August and September, WBC is pleased to release the next and final portion of its Initial Proposal, Initial Proposal Volume II, for public comment through Nov. 15, 2023.
