We look forward to working with you to build a prosperous Wyoming.
Our Regional Directors live and work where you are. The Services Team provides the value of expertise, networks, and tools for Wyoming businesses. This team integrates the many different services under one roof to increase capacity, inspire greater collaboration, and facilitate economic development activities throughout the state. Beyond broad business development offerings, our Services Team is known for deep expertise in recruitment, agribusiness, entrepreneurship, foreign and domestic trade, broadband, community development, and Main Street.
The Investment Team understands the financial landscape of economic development necessary to help Wyoming businesses and communities secure the right financing for sustainable projects that contribute to Wyoming’s lasting growth. This team develops and administers programs providing financial support to local governments and assists Wyoming businesses in reaching their financial goals through business and industry analysis, credit analysis, financial due diligence, business plan review, large loan applications, and loan processing and servicing.Â
The Operations Team reinforces the Business Council’s efforts to drive innovation from talent development, administrative, accounting, IT, public meetings and records, and rulemaking perspectives. This team ensures organizational excellence and integrity and has deep public sector expertise while utilizing business best practices. They are agile, creative, and quick on their feet with an eye to creating lasting structure and processes.
The Strategy Team leads the execution of the state’s economic development strategy. This team utilizes a problem-driven and iterative approach to fully understand Wyoming’s economic challenges and constraints prior to allocating resources. They facilitate public-private collaboration, maximize strong relationships with partners and stakeholders, identify possible solutions, improve the agency impact and performance, and communicate the Wyoming economic development story at all levels.Â
Since early 2020, I’ve had the pleasure of working with the team at WBC. My purpose in this role (and in life) is to inspire and facilitate positive change, so being able to work with people who want to make a big impact on Wyoming’s future is a dream come true. Most of my day-to-day work involves reaching out, listening, and sharing the state’s economic development strategy to show everyone how we can work together to make it happen.
I joined the Business Council team in 2010 and have held various positions during my tenure. In 2015, I took the role of Southeast Regional Director, and more recently I have also served as the regional team lead.
I enjoy finding the fun in work, celebrating each other’s wins, and setting big scary goals and supporting each other while working towards them
I’ve been the Northwest Regional Director since July 2021 and connect the communities within Big Horn, Hot Springs, Park, and Washakie Counties to the resources they need to thrive.
Started with the WBC in February 2023.
I am a lifelong Wyomingite and I am proud to serve Fremont, Sublette and Teton counties as the West Central Regional Director. It is my passion to see Wyoming diversify its economy, build infrastructure, create jobs and thrive as we forge ahead into the future.
I am the Southwest Wyoming Regional Director focusing on economic development in Lincoln, Sweetwater and Uinta County since July of 2021. Each day I am encouraged and hopeful for the future my region and the State will become.
I started with WBC in 2017 and serve as the Northeast Regional Director, helping businesses and communities find the resources they need to meet their goals.
I get to lead a really smart team of experts in business and community services. Our team provides expertise and consulting to entrepreneurs, agribusiness people, companies seeking to relocate or expand to Wyoming, broadband providers and communities seeking better connection to the world via broadband infrastructure, Main Street communities, and communities in general that are seeking to make where they live even more attractive than they are today and need a plan to do it. Services also houses the Asia Pacific Trade Office, so I get to work with the rest of the WBC team to connect Wyoming companies to the resources the trade office can offer for export assistance. I’ve been here since 2003. I started in Business Recruitment, did a little Entrepreneurship work, a little BRE, then went back to my first “love” of recruiting, until I became the Services Director in 2019.
As the Business Recruitment Manager, I have the pleasure of working with companies looking at possible relocations or expansions to our great state. Since I started in 2018, I have had the opportunity to meet with many different people from across many different industries and sectors, and relay to them the benefits and opportunities of doing business in Wyoming.
Having 20+ years experience in business, I work to bring to light market opportunities and identify barriers for growth that we, along with stakeholders, can build upon to grow Wyoming agriculture.
I am already enjoying getting to know
the incredibly passionate and talented people that makeup Wyoming’s
entrepreneurial ecosystem — I feel incredibly fortunate to be working in this
space and continue looking forward to being able to contribute to helping our
state prosper economically. My vision is to help make Wyoming have the
strongest entrepreneurial economy in the country, where it’s a place for new
businesses and their people to thrive.”
I have been in charge of the State of Wyoming Asia-Pacific Trade Office in Taiwan since September 2018. My main services and responsibilities are promoting and educating Wyoming companies on trade opportunities, market intelligence, investment attraction (FDI), and trade show and mission administration. I help bring Wyoming businesses to Taiwan and vice versa, which increases mutual benefits.
I joined the WBC in 2017 and currently manage the Main Street program, providing support to communities across the state looking to revitalize their downtowns and bring their community together.
I want to add value to the team and to projects and can’t wait to work with communities to help them figure out who they want to be and how they will get there.
I am energized by creativity, the satisfaction of finding a solution to an obstacle, and most of all, people. I think people and culture is something that can incentivize a person to go above and beyond.
I have been with the Business Council since March 2020, or the start of COVID, depending on how you want to measure time. I am currently the Investments Director where the Investments Team works to ensure the investments we make in Wyoming have strong returns for the State for years to come.
I have been with the WBC since 2017 and currently manage the Business Ready Community (BRC) grant and loan program for our agency.
I have been with the WBC since early 2020 and I help communities through the Business Ready Community Grant and Loan Program to manage their projects from start to finish.
Started with the WBC in February 2023.
We are currently seeking to hire for this position. Please visit our Open Positions page to find out more information.
As COO, I connect the dots, remove hurdles, smooth out processes and ensure that a solid foundation exists to deliver the very important work of diversifying and growing Wyoming’s complex economy. Prior to coming to the Business Council in 2018, I worked in municipal government, local economic development, and for a large, global consulting firm where I sharpened my operations and process-building skillset.
I’ve been with the WBC since 2009 helping the team and our people grow with impact and purpose. The WBC offers an abundance of variety and broad opportunities to make significant contributions that empower and elevate others.
I started at the WBC in 2022. I love living in Wyoming. In my role at the WBC I get to be part of the future for this beautiful state. I enjoy working towards common goals with all of our team members.
I have been keeping the WBC balanced since 2018. Every day is a new day with new projects and new problems to solve.
I have been with the WBC since 2007 and oversee the hardware and services the teams need to ensure all the pieces fit and work together.
I work in Accounting and process accounts receivable and payable. I also maintain payroll and benefits for all the employees at the WBC. I have been with the WBC since 2014 and started in Accounting, moved to HR for about seven years and now work in Accounting again.
Together with the Business Council team and statewide partners, I get to lead the development and execution of the state’s economic development strategy.
I have been with the WBC since 2014 and have had the pleasure of working with partners, stakeholders and businesses as Strategic Partnerships Director since 2019.
I started at the Business Council in 2017 as a Regional Director and currently manage communications for our agency, both internally and externally, to ensure we have a consistent message and to help tell our story with heart and authenticity.
I enjoy collaborating with people, making impactful and meaningful change, and giving people opportunities for self-betterment.
I have been a part of the Wyoming Business Council since March of 2023.
