University of Wyoming Partnerships
The Wyoming Business Council provides services to Wyoming citizens through contracts with the University of Wyoming.
- Government Resources and Opportunities for Business (GRO-Biz) - The Wyoming Procurement Technical Assistance Center assists small businesses and entrepreneurs throughout the State of Wyoming in selling their products and services to government entities.
- Wyoming Market Research Center (WMRC) - The WMRC provides low to no cost market information to Wyoming businesses including competitive analysis, marketing lists, custom demographic and psychographic analysis, industry trends, government regulations, geographic information services, marketing material evaluations and original research. The WMRC is primarily funded by the Wyoming Business Council in cooperation with the University of Wyoming. Contact the WMRC at 307.766.2688 or your Regional Director.
- Manufacturing-Works -Manufacturing-Works™ provides broad technical assistance, engineering solutions, general business assistance, marketing assistance, and financial counseling. - Wyoming Research Products Center - The technology transfer center assists inventors statewide and at the University with development of their technology innovations into marketable products. Contact 307.766.2520.
- Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) - The SBDC helps Wyoming small businesses and entrepreneurs by providing management assistance, educational programs and helpful resources. Personalized consulting service is available to help entrepreneurs develop business plans, identify problems, find capital, brainstorm strategies and propel their businesses to a profitable future. - Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR)/Wyoming SBIR/STTR Initiative (WSSI) - The initiative assists qualified Wyoming small businesses and individuals in accessing funds available through the SBIR and STTR Programs. - Wyoming Department of Workforce Services - The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services is Agency is focused on delivering comprehensive and effective services that build a workforce to meet the changing demands of Wyoming’s diverse businesses, citizens and economy, linking human and economic development for Wyoming’s future.
- Wyoming Council for Women's Issues - The WCWI is a 13-member council with representation from each of the nine Judicial Districts in addition to four at large members and one ex-officio member of the Wyoming Business Council. The WCWI is a Governor appointed council.
