Placemaking Workshop in Rawlins

The Wyoming Association of Municipalities and the Wyoming Business Council (WBC) are offering a mini-course on placemaking.  It will teach you the lighter, quicker, cheaper method to identify and recreate public spaces that residents and visitors will want to use!

With community-based participation at its center, an effective Placemaking process capitalizes on a local community’s assets, inspiration, and potential, and it results in the creation of quality public spaces that contribute to people’s health, happiness, and well-being.

The WBC offers micro grants to those communities who have completed Placemaking training.

RSVP ashley.cannon@wyo.gov at least 72 hours before the training.
Trainings with less than 15 people will be canceled.
