Bringing Broadband to You
Broadband Enhancement
Access to high-quality business and residential broadband is essential to developing, growing, and attracting businesses, improving academic performance, supporting healthcare, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, attracting investment, educating the workforce of the future, quality of life, and improving Wyoming’s position as a global competitor.
The Federal Communications Commission has established that “advanced telecommunications capability” requires access to download speeds of at least 100 Mbps and upload speeds of at least 100 Mbps with future scalability.
Our Wyoming team is working with internet service providers, communities, businesses, and partners to better understand where broadband is and isn’t and we’re focused on ensuring reliable, high-speed connections in all corners of the state.

Broadband Listening Sessions
The Wyoming Business Council Broadband Office, in partnership with our contractor CTC, is hosting several important in-person broadband listening sessions the week of June 5 to 9, 2023. These sessions are critical to share information about Wyoming’s federal broadband funding allocations and planning how to utilize those funds to increase digital access across the state.
Please save the date and share with your colleagues and local affiliates.
Over the next few years, the State of Wyoming will make unprecedented funds available to address broadband needs across the state. Your engagement and input are critical to shaping the state’s plans and we want to hear from you. These in-person listening sessions across the state from June 5 to 9 seek your valuable input.
