The Wyoming AgXpo Youth Talent Review will take place Nov. 21 at the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds in Casper. The competition is open to amateur performers aged 10 to 20-years-old as of Nov. 21, 2008.

Performances must fall under the categories of folk, country or gospel music, Western poetry or storytelling.

To participate, performers must submit a video tape, CD or DVD of their act with an application to Milton Green, University Extension Educator, University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service, 2011 Fairgrounds Road, Casper, Wyo., 82604.

Application forms can be found at www.wyoagexpo.com. The deadline for submitting entries is Oct. 24.

Fifteen semi-finalists will be chosen from the application packets to audition in Casper on Nov. 21 before a panel of judges. Of the 15, five will be selected to perform in the talent show that same night.

All five finalists will receive a $100 cash prize and the winner will be awarded an additional $500.
