Business Council calls for businesses to present at fall conference
CHEYENNE – The Wyoming Business Council is accepting proposals from Wyoming businesses interested in hosting a session at the 2009 Business-to-Business Idea Expo.
The Idea Expo gives businesses an opportunity to discuss successful and innovative ideas through break-out sessions conducted by others in Wyoming’s business community. A special, but not exclusive emphasis this year will be on subjects pertaining to entrepreneurial businesses and entrepreneurs.
“The Idea Expo was built around the concept of providing sessions for Wyoming businesses to share their experiences, network and brainstorm,” said Brandon Marshall, Business and Entrepreneurial Development Program manager. “We are soliciting session suggestions from businesses to keep conference information based mostly on user-generated content.”
Businesses interested in presenting at the Expo should submit a proposal for a 50-minute session using the form found at www.wyomingideaexpo.com. Sessions may be simple presentations or panel discussions. Proposals must be received by the Business Council no later than July 15.
The 2009 Idea Expo will be held at the Laramie Hilton Garden Inn and UW Conference Center, Sept. 28-29.
For more information about presenting at or attending the Idea Expo, contact Brandon Marshall at brandon.marshall@wybusiness.org or 307.777.2820.
The mission of the Wyoming Business Council is to facilitate the economic growth of Wyoming. For more information, please visit www.wyomingbusiness.org.
