Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport

Sweetwater County is planning for the future with a targeted industry study funded in part by a $50,000 grant from the Wyoming Business Council.

The undertaking includes development of a 15,000 acre site near Southwest Regional Airport.

The study will obtain detailed market analysis that identifies specific industries to recruit for the targeted development area.

The ultimate goal is to produce new revenues for the local and state tax base and create alternatives to the region's current dependency on mineral valuations. For more information, click here.
