Community Enhancement and Facility Needs Assessment
The Legislature tasked the Wyoming Business Council with surveying cities and counties for enhancement opportunities to possibly include in CFP and future legislation. The purpose of the survey was to understand enhancement needs. Local governments, 35 in total, completed the Wyoming Community Enhancement and Facility Needs Assessment in 2005. Based on those results, the Business Council prepared a legislative report for the Joint Appropriations and Joint Minerals, Business and Economic Development Interim Committees.

Quality of Life Financing

• CDBG Community Development Grants - CDBG grants offer financial assistance for handicapped accessibility (primarily for public buildings), community facilities such as senior centers, centers for developmentally disabled children and adults, medical and mental health clinics and other facilities designed to assist special needs clientele.
