This free one-day workshop is designed to provide hands-on learning for companies new-to-exporting or companies looking for a refresher course. The workshop brings in leading experts from around the country to teach the following topics:
  • Market Research
  • Labeling, Documentation, and Country Requirements
  • Shipping, Logistics, and Incoterms
  • Financing and Payment
  • Export Assistance Programs
  • Creating your Export Plan

WHY THIS WORKSHOP IS IMPORTANT
"Through market research, the Wyoming Business Council has found that Wyoming businesses are interested in international markets, but in many cases, feel unequipped to export. If increased involvement in trade missions, ExporTech, WUSATA, and other programs is desired, then foundation-building export workshops need to be provided for potential Wyoming exporters. The following proposed workshop will provide potential Wyoming exporters the information, tools and assistance programs necessary to effectively penetrate a new market.

WHO THIS WORKSHOP TARGETS
This workshop will target two key markets: 1) New-to-Export businesses and 2) businesses with minimal export experience. The focus of this workshop is to provide Wyoming businesses the foundation to pursue international sales opportunities.
