Kelly Lockhart is a Senior Vice President of Investments with Wells Fargo Advisors where he has served as a financial advisor and also a branch manager for 32 of his 33 years at the brokerage firm. Lockhart was raised on a farm in Pavillion, and has lived in Teton Country for 33 years.
Lockhart was appointed by the state to the Board of Agriculture where he served as president from 1997-2001. He was Treasurer of the Jackson Hole Land Trust from 2003-2009, and played a significant role on the Teton County Planning Commission in 1987-1992. He has been a leader in the Teton County 4-H for 20 years and is the former president of the Teton Country Fair Board.
Lockhart, his wife, Liz, and two sons, Cody and Chase, also operate Lockhart Cattle Company, a vertically integrated grass-fed beef company and a registered Hereford operation that provides meat to local consumers and area restaurants. The Lockhart family has run cattle in Jackson for five generations.
Lockhart holds a B.S. in Economics, 1974, and a Masters in Economics with a concentration in Natural Resources, 1977, from the University of Wyoming. He also holds a Masters in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, 1978.
